Hep C Coalition publishes factsheets on hep C and associated diseases

The Hepatitis C Coalition has today published a series of factsheets setting out the relationship between hepatitis C and other diseases, with a view to broadening understanding of the links between different conditions.

People with hepatitis C often have other health conditions and action to improve hepatitis C services could have additional benefits for these other diseases, and vice versa.

The factsheets were developed on the basis of interviews with patient and clinical experts, as well as drawing upon the expertise within the Coalition’s membership. They can be found below:

Hepatitis C and Alcohol-related liver disease factsheet

Hepatitis C and Haemophilia factsheet

Hepatitis C and HIV factsheet

Hepatitis C and Thalassaemia factsheet

Hepatitis C and Tuberculosis factsheet

A brochure summarising the Coalition’s recent parliamentary reception on hepatitis C and associated diseases, jointly organised with the Hep C Trust and All Party Parliamentary Hepatology Group is available here.
